Khan Reject the Panama Commission
ISLAMABAD: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf Imran Khan has
rejected the Federal Commission on Panama Leaks lead by Justice
(retired) Sarmad Jalal Usmani.
Imran Khan stated that a commission formulated by the daughter of the Prime
Minister Maryam Nawaz is a joke with the nation. It is formulated to
hide corruption exposed through leaked Panama Papers.
He also stated that Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf would not rest until a commission is formed lead by the current Chief Justice of Pakistan. In case the government fails to formulate a proper commission PTI will go to all lengths, Khan added.
On the other hand Pakistan (N) League Member of Parliament Daniyal Aziz stated that the Government reached out to 5 different judges however they are reluctant due to PTI’s attitude.
He said that Khan should be answering the allegations on his own party, he has accepted that he used Hawala to bring money into the country evading tax. His hospital Shaukat Khanum Memorial also appeared in the leaked Panama Papers.
